Every year in my area, I’m called to remove hundreds of snakes and other pests, like rodents, from people’s houses. One very common place for wildlife to get into is the garage. State 48 Garage Doors is great! Our garage door broke on a Friday before a holiday weekend and we had service scheduled for Tuesday morning. The scheduling process was easy and quick. On the morning of our service, I received a text that Tyson was on the way, so I knew when he would be arriving. He showed up within the time window that we were quoted and explained all of the garage door issues and options with me. There was no pressure to go one way or another with our repair needs. I inquired about the installation of a new garage door opener and a tune up via Facebook Messenger. State 48 was immediately responsive and set up an appointment for the following morning. Tyson arrived promptly for our scheduled appointment. He took the time to explain the different options and installed my selection right on the spot and in the estimated time frame that was given. Upon completion, he explained the work that had been done, programmed the remotes and keypad and was thorough in explaining all of the new equipment functionality. I was referred by a friend, & from my first call in scheduling who was very polite, friendly & courteous! I was scheduled the next day with Greg who was very helpful, & listened & I never felt any pressure, in fact he went beyond & gave me several estimate choices to choose from. Greg Fenton was sent out to repair my garage door recently. The management company I rent from received approval from the landlord for the work order. Greg came out the following day and knew exactly the problems causing the major issues. First off, it's the original door from the 1999 and it's had a rough past from the looks of it. Greg was able to replace all of the rollers, the motor component and probably something else I'm missing. Before it was loud, made cracks, on the verge of being dangerous, bangs and was noticeably audible, even upon move in with friends, they commented how noisy it was. It is much quieter now, still makes noise but not nearly as rickety. The landlord wanted the bare minimum and honestly, I don't care as long as it functions. Greg was professional, easy to schedule with, kind, and put up with all my random questions. 10/10 recommend this small, local business. ~ Kelsey B

Our garage door suddenly stop working. I asked my neighbors to recommend a good company to repair it !! I called a few but they don’t have spits available this week . One of my friends recommended State48 garage door. I called and Lina answered the phone very polite and friendly. I make an appointment for next day. James came and fixed. I made an appt for the same week. The technician (Tyson) showed up, on-time and was professional, respectful and helpful. Yesterday it rained in Arizona and of course our electric went out because we hardly get downpours like this. When the electric came back on everything worked except my garage door. Great. I called State 48 at 7 pm and they offered to come out same day. I let them know they did not need to work after hours so they came at 0700 am in the morning. Took 45 minutes. The tech was amazingly on time. So kudos for that. He was well-mannered and went right to work. He repaired my garage door and the pricing was fabulous. Twice we have had State 48 Garage Doors come out to do work at our house. The first time to install a garage door opener. The second time because one of the springs broke on another garage door, so we had two springs replaced. Tyson was punctual and very professional. He did a very good job both times. We had one little glitch with communication, but Tyson listened to my concerns and made things right. We will definitely be using State 48 Garage Doors again when we replace our garage doors. State 48 Garage Doors is great! They were able to provide us with a explanation of what was wrong with our garage door and estimate to provide to our property manager who had been slacking on the repair. Their estimate helped us get the repair approved and they were able to get out to us quick. Tyson was fantastic. Great communication and on time. He replaced the tension cables and adjusted everything to proper tension. We also had two rollers that had broke. Tyson replaced all 10 of our old style rollers with new ones that had bearings inside the wheels to help quiet the door when it goes up! Highly recommend these guys! ~ Zac F

I called State 48 Garagedoors out for a diagnosis and quote. There were no pressure tactics used. I felt comfortable with Greg's recommendation and decided to use this company to install a new opener. He gave me a variety of options, all of which he had on the truck. Greg was knowledgeable and professional. When done he took the time to go over everything with my new unit and all of the remotes. Recd information a couple days prior to the installation about what areas needed to be cleared, etc. This was very helpful as we often forget what stuff we may have cluttering the garage & driveway. Tyson arrived on time, went straight to work dismantling the 17 year old garage door rail system, etc. Roughly 5.5 hours later, I had a very nice (lot quieter) fully functional garage door. He also took the time to program all of the remotes & discuss the steps needed to connect the garage, etc to the app & explained the basic features of each of the levels in the app. Overall, from the first time I spoke to Tony, who patiently answered all of my many, many questions during our original meeting and again after I received the estimate; Amber at the office, making sure what time worked best for me & what Tyson would need when he arrived; and Tyson's install was a very pleasant experience. Family owned and operated. One of the springs for our garage door gave out and made a massive breaking noise after it had been running rough for about a year. Tyson came out next day after calling, knew exactly what to fix immediately and got it done within an hour and a half. Our garage door now opens faster, smoother and quieter. No longer wakes me up from how loud it used to open. Greg Fenton did a wonderful job for us. Any company would be lucky to have him represent them. We had our HVAC system inspection the other day (Cool Days A/C) and I asked if he happened to know anyone that repairs garage doors. He did and more importantly had used them recently. He recommended State 48 Garage Doors, so I booked an appointment. Springs on the garage door failed upon returning from the gym early in the morning. State 48 got to me within just a couple of hours to have a look so they could prepare an estimate. They sent me two options the next morning and I signed off on the best solution. The repair/installation was scheduled quickly at a mutually agreeable date/time. State 48 came out the next day to evaluate loud noise our garage door was making. James was able to diagnose the problem, and was able to fix it that day. He was efficient, friendly, and did not try to sell me on anything that was truly not needed for safety. He took the time to explain the overall mechanics of the garage door system with a very helpful analogy, and was detailed in showing me what the problem was and why his proposed solution would fix it.
